Kayce Models Press Release: 2007 Vancouver Model Search Update - CEO's StatementVANCOUVER, May 26th, 2007 - For Immediate Release: Following the open casting-call originally served on April 27th, Toronto-based agency Kayce Models concluded its 2007 Vancouver Model Search officially on May 25th - five days after the announced deadline. Kayce Models owner & chief executive officer Kevin Chung's prepared statement on the subject is as follows: "On behalf of our entire staff, I'd like to thank all of the applicants for showing such a high level of interest in Kayce Models - we officially concluded the submission process for our 2007 Vancouver Model Search two days ago, having received over 250 completed applications. Though we were incredibly flattered by the response in Vancouver, we were not able to set up appointments with all of the applicants due to time constraints. Currently, we are looking to offer 10-15 exclusive/non-exclusive representation contracts out of the sixty or so applicants we will have time to interview, though there is no definite quota in mind for the number of models we'd like to represent in Vancouver. "As an organization, Kayce Models strongly believes in the importance of maintaining a dynamic & close-knit team environment between all of our staff, talent & professionals, and we look to work closely with each of our models to help develop each model's career according to their individual aspirations. In our models, we look for not only potential/ability to excel in the entertainment & modeling industries but also for highly-motivated individuals with strong intrapersonal skills looking to pursue a career in the field. I look forward to meeting each of the selected applicants personally in the coming weeks as we continue to grow and develop our presence in Vancouver." All applicants who completed the submission process prior to the deadline have now been contacted for interview and photoshoot appointments with company representatives in the Greater Vancouver Area.
